Randy Couture vs. Dana White
There was tension between Randy Couture and Dana Whiteback in 2007 when ‘The Natural’ attempted to jump ship from the UFC to join Affliction, sparking a legal battle that forced his return.
However, things got even uglier years later when Couture suddenly opted to bail out of an occasional analyst role with the UFC to sign a broadcasting deal with rival promotion Bellator.
“I don’t respect him at all,” White ranted to reporters after UFC 156. “Not even a little bit. Randy Couture, the only time Randy Couture is a man is when he sets foot in the cage. As soon as his big toe steps out of that cage, he’s the furthest thing from it.”
White went on to ban Couture from attending UFC events and even refused to let him corner his own son, Ryan Couture during his brief time in the UFC.
“I need you to understand this: Me and your dad are not good, me and your dad are never going to be good, ever, ever again, as long as I walk this f– planet,” White admitted telling the legendary fighter’s son.
