4. Conor McGregor vs. Mike Wood

This fight was at a pivotal time for Conor’s career.  After fighting 4 times in 2008 Conor didn’t have a professional fight for just under 2 years.  Since returning he was 2-1, having lost via arm-triangle choke to current UFC fighter Joseph Duffy.  if Conor lost this fight he would only be sporting a .500 record, making it difficult for him to get noticed by bigger promotions.

Conor didn’t lose however, and he certainly got noticed.
