3. Gray Maynard

In Gray Maynard’s defense, he should’ve been awarded the victory in this bout. This despite the fact that he knocked himself out.

In 2007, Maynard’s 1st official UFC fight took place on the TUF 5 Finale. In the second round, it appeared as though Maynard had knocked his opponent out with a takedown. Rob Emerson had hit his head hard on the mat during the takedown but the problem was so did Maynard. Even though the ref waved the fight off while looking at Emerson, he would later declare both fighters had been knocked out and the fight was a draw.

For knocking himself out in his UFC debut, Gray Maynard finds himself at #3 on this list. He would go on to have a far better career than anyone else on this list, however.
