Nate Diaz

They are one win apiece, and that’s more than enough reason to make a third fight. McGregor has previously said he’s willing to do it again at lightweight, which Nate Diaz then obliged. Let’s not kid ourselves as well, Diaz is McGregor’s toughest opponent to date.

A third McGregor-Diaz bout would be absolutely epic, due to the out of the cage promotion alone. Both guys love to trash talk each other and Diaz just does it so well. Maybe even better than McGregor.

At lightweight, Diaz promises to be faster, stronger and more powerful. All of these are qualities he will most definitely take advantage of if they ever do a third bout.

However, as we saw in the Alvarez fight just last weekend, McGregor’s power at lightweight is scary. It’s the power emanating from McGregor’s concussive left hand that simply gets the job done. As tough as Diaz is, he too is unable to handle that power.

Regardless, a third Diaz bout is big money and McGregor loves those greenbacks.
