Taking place in a whirlwind of record-breaking hype, UFC 205 blew our minds on Saturday. Hosted by the historic Madison Square Garden, UFC 205 was packed to the gills with fans clamouring for the stacked card.

Three title fights filled the top half of the main card, with a number of high;y pivotal contender fights to boot. The main attraction, obviously, was Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez. Watch the video of that fight here.

McGregor Conquers

Making his own piece of memorable history at UFC 205, Conor McGregor won the lightweight belt. Taking out Eddie Alvarez at the eight-minute mark, ‘The Notorious’ broke one of the holiest records available.

Now the first ever two-weight simultaneous champion, ‘The Notorious’ holds belts at 145 and 155 pounds. That epic moment was by far the only fight making UFC 205 amazing, in the co-main event we were treated to a welterweight title clash for the ages.

Woodley vs. Wonderboy

Reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley faced Stephen Thompson at UFC 205, and it was damn incredible. The bout won ‘fight of the night’ honors at the end of the evening, and deservedly so.

‘The Chosen One’ and ‘Wonderboy’ put on a quality five-round war. Thomspon was nearly knocked out and submitted in the fourth round, somehow pulling through and winning the next frame. Eventually scored a majority draw, a rematch would seem the best option now. Woodley has other plans, though.

Woodley vs. McGregor?!?

Before UFC 205, there was a fair amount of tension brewing between Tyron Woodley and Conor McGregor. The two came face-to-face before the weigh-ins, eventually leading to McGregor screaming at Woodley, calling him a ‘bitch.’

During a number of Tweets since his UFC 205 war with Thompson, ‘T-Wood’ has been talking a lot about the McGregor fight. In a post sent to ‘Wonderboy,’ Woodley outright said he is fighting Conor McGregor next:
