4. Michael Bisping

Michael Bisping has always been a fairly hateable guy. In particular, he garnered a fairly large amount of hate when he coached against Dan Henderson on the Ultimate Fighter. The season was billed as USA vs. United Kingdom.

In recent years Bisping has increased the level of hate he receives by winning the middleweight championship, and then avoiding as many top challengers as he can. He defeated Luke Rockhold for the championship at UFC 199, and then somehow ended up fighting Dan Henderson in his first title defence at UFC 204.

It is believed to have been the UFC’s choice to book Henderson vs. Bisping II at UFC 204, but all the same it allowed Bisping to avoid top challengers such as Jacare Souza or Yoel Romero. Now Bisping looks to have avoided a top middleweight challenger again, by announcing he will next face former welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre.
