When Conor McGregor does something a lot of people tune in to see it. Many of those people are Conor McGregor fans, but there are also plenty of people who tune in because they hate him so much.
It’s no secret why Conor receives as much hate as he does. Not only does he trash talk more than any fighter in history, he spent much of 2016 in an intense rivalry with Nate Diaz, which turned fans of the Stockton brothers against him.
Conor also gets a lot of hate for changes he’s brought to the sport. Ever since Conor, championships are taking a back seat to “money fights”. MMA purists blame Conor’s impact on the sport for this change of focus.
