4. Josh Thomson vs. Nate Diaz II
Out of all the guys we want to see Nate Diaz beat up, why have we picked up Josh Thomson? Because he’s the only guy to ever knock Nate Diaz out.
Diaz was also finished once by Hermes Franca via decision, but Thomson is the only guy to knockout a guy who arguably has the best chin in mixed martial arts. Considering that Diaz just gave a guy he choked out an immediate rematch, perhaps he’s feeling like he’d like to expunge his one KO loss on his record.
For Thomson, he lost 3 straight after KO’ing Diaz in 2013 and was gone from the UFC. He has since won his first 2 since debuting in Bellator.
