1. Strikeforce: Nashville Brawl
Jake Shields had just finished defeating Dan Henderson in Strikeforce, in what was probably his biggest career victory. Jason “Mayhem” Miller had won earlier in the evening (he used to be able to do that) and wanted Shields to grant him a shot at his title. So like other potential challengers have done, he got in the cage during the champion’s post-fight interview. Shields’ teammates, the Cesar Gracie team, took offence to Miller trying to take Shields’ moment. A scuffle between Miller and the entire Cesar Gracie team ensued on live television, while the commentating team acting as though they were watching a bunch of unruly children.
By the way, neither Miller nor Shields ever fought in Strikeforce again, so the brawl didn’t even set up anything at all.
