4. Conor McGregor vs. The Mountain II
This would actually be a rematch, as the two have met previously. The 6ft9 400lbs Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson walked into SBG Ireland earlier this year and he and Conor sparred briefly.
In reality “the Mountain” is a former Icelandish professional basketball player who turned to strongman competitions after suffering a knee injury. He has finished 2nd or 3rd in the World’s Strongest Man competition the last four years. He has won Europe’s Strongest Man competition on two occasions. And he has won Iceland’s Strongest Man competition on 6 occasions.
But after landing a role in Game of Thrones in 2013, he now looks to be settling into an acting career. Conor would have to get in and out with his punches, and take him into the later rounds if he wants to beat him.
