So you wanna be a fighter? These tough women’s MMA fighters went to war at UFC Fight Night 83 last night, leaving bodily fluids spattered on the camera lens during their grizzly war…

UFC Fight Night 83 was the biggest serving of legitimate mixed martial arts to go down this weekend, hitting Pittsburgh with an interesting card last night (Sunday February 21, 2016). It was a battle of Cowboys at the top of the card, but there was plenty more going on throughout the event’s undercard bouts.

For instance,Lauren Murphy fought Kelly Faszholz in a crazy women’s bantamweight brawl, and provided one of the most grizzly and gruesome moments in modern MMA hstory. The fight went in to the third round, with Murphy ending the fight with just five seconds left on the clock.

Check out the gruesome moment a strike from Murphy sends blood flying on to the lens of the camera for all to see:

That was nasty! Although she was battered quite badly, it pays to remember Kelly took this fight on just eight days notice, and she gave it her all before being eventually overwhelmed in the final round.

Murphy showed why she may still be one of the most promising prospects in the wide open women’s bantamweight division with her gritty TKO win over Faszholz, as she saves herself from the cut after losing two straight at 135 pounds.
