Former two-weight world champion Conor McGregor is a superstar right now. Not just in the MMA world, but literally everywhere people are talking about McGregor. Sitting atop the lightweight division, and formerly the featherweights too, ‘The Notorious’ has the world at his feet.

firmed by Dana White this week. It’s yet another notch added to the string of talents McGregor possesses.

After just three years in the UFC, Conor McGregor has experienced levels of success like nobody before him. Even Ronda Rousey’s fame pales in comparison to the reach of ‘The Notorious.’
Leading him to impending Hollywood fame down the line, McGregor’s gift of the gab is certainly unique. Not only does he use it to get places in the media, but also to break his opponent’s mind before the fight.
Case in point-Dustin Poirier.

When he was slated to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 178, Conor McGregor was still rising through the ranks. He was yet to taste UFC gold, but was a rapidly growing persona in the UFC.
McGregor blasted Poirier with so much trash talk that he was essentially living inside ‘The Diamond’s’ head. It showed on fight night, as McGregor was able to KO Poirier in just under two minutes.

Currently on a break from fighting for 10 months, Conor McGregor’s future in the UFC could include part ownership. After defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, the Irishman demanded equity in the UFC. No answer has been released so far. Watch this space!
