Paulie Malignaggi Really Doesn’t Like Conor McGregor… The Obsessed Former Boxing Champion is Now Getting Filmed Spitting at Murals of The Notorious…

It’s beginning to get a little bit sad now. Paulie Malignaggi is not a fan of Conor McGregor. You know this. I know this. We all know that Conor McGregor cares as much about Paulie, as Jon Jones did about that pregnant lady he once hit. Basically, he doesn’t care at all.

Paulie, in stark contrast, is obsessed. There is no other word for it. Ever since McGregor’s team released footage of the Irishman dropping the former WBA and IBF champion in a sparring session while preparing for the Mayweather fight. ‘The Magic Man’ has strongly denied that he was knocked down and saw the leaked footage as a betrayal of his trust.

Despite McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov being in Paulie’s sights for a bare-knuckle boxing debut, McGregor is still his ultimate nemesis. That’s why he’s even spitting at murals of the former UFC champion.

Pure Hatred

The clip above was initially posted on Malignaggi’s Instagram. He tagged Artem Lobov in the post, which was filmed in Santa Monica, California. There’s not that much to say other than Malignaggi spits at the wall while walking past. He gets asked:

“Yo, what do you think about this guy?” “This guy right here?” “Yeah this guy.”

Malignaggi spits. It’s definitely not the most mature part of this toxic rivalry.

Comeback

‘The Magic Man’ hasn’t fought since 2017, but is set to return in June against Artem Lobov in a genuinely anticipated bare-knuckle boxing match. Despite having never fought in the stripped back combat sport, Malignaggi is bullish about his chances.

“Once I put his boy in a coma, he’s gonna want to fight me,” Malignaggi told MMA journalist Helen Yee. “If he’s any kind of man, he would. So once I do that in June, he will want to fight me, but the conversation doesn’t even get initiated unless 12 rounds of sparring, unedited, the way it actually happens, comes out. If it doesn’t, then Conor doesn’t even start the conversation.”

“If Artem doesn’t have a corner that cares about him, he’s gonna get hurt. He’s gonna get very badly hurt. This is boxing, this is not mixed martial arts. Not to disrespect mixed martial arts but in boxing, people die. People get traumatic brain injuries in one night. This is not mixed martial arts where they’ve had as many traumatic brain injuries since the inception of the sport as boxing gets in one year. This is mainly head strikes and Artem doesn’t know how to defend himself.

Pain Game

This is going to be a fascinating contest. Lobov has been through an absolute war with Jason Knight, so he’ll know exactly what to expect from this bloodiest of contests. He’ll also have a clinch advantage because of his MMA and grappling experience. However, when it comes to actual striking, Malignaggi is definitely in a different class. It’s finely balanced. Malignaggi said:

“I’m telling you right now if they don’t pull him out of this fight in the correct way, he’s going to get hurt. He’s going to get permanently hurt. This is actually a very professional fighter against a guy who basically belongs in a tough-man show.”

Time will tell whether or not his fitness and brittle hands will last the five rounds in New Hampshire at BKFC 6.
