Out of nowhere!
Stacked to the gills with some top talent, UFC on FOX 24 delivered in a big way. Fans at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri were treated to a thrilling main card. Topping the bill was flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and the challenger Wilson Reis.

Elsewhere on the main card, heavy underdog Robert Whittaker took on grappling demon Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza. The bookies had Souza as the odds on favorite, but Whittaker had other ideas.

Perhaps Souza was ill-advised to stand with Whittaker. The 26-year old New Zealand-born Australian native came to bang, and it was at Jacare’s expense. Although the Brazilian did attempt to get the fight grounded, Whittaker was just too on the ball.

What’s Next?
After smashing through Souza like a wrecking ball, Whittaker’s current streak stands at seven. Outside of the champion Michael Bisping, there’s obvious fights with top ranked Yoel Romero or Luke Rockhold.
Currently scheduled to face Georges St-Pierre this summer, it looks like ‘The Count’ will have a fresh face in the top five spot. Keep an eye on this kid!
