3. B.J Penn UFC 94

Penn was looking to became the 1st fighter to simultaneously hold titles in 2 weight divisions when he fought GSP for the welterweight title at UFC 94.  The two had met earlier in their careers at UFC 58, where Georges earned a split-decision victory.

This fight would not be nearly as close however, as GSP dominated Penn for 4 rounds until BJ’s corner stopped the fight.

This was the famous “vaseline-gate” fight, where GSP’s corner was caught rubbing vaseline on his back.  Penn would file an appeal that was ultimately rejected.
