In the aftermath of a bloody 5-round unanimous decision win against former pound for pound king Anderson Silva, Michael Bisping may have already found his next opponent. A war of words has begun on twitter between the Brit and former Strikeforce Welterweight Champ Nick Diaz.

Diaz shared a meme that mocked Bisping’s win against Silva, and Bisping has promptly responded. Nick Diaz shared the following meme from @Fight.memes on Instagram that may have ignited a war of words:

When the biggest trash talkers in the sport are mentioned, Bisping and Diaz are usually right near the top of the list. Also likely on that list is Nick’s younger brother Nate, who will step in on short notice to fight Conor McGregor this weekend. The potential trash talk for these two fights will make for a very exciting buildup.

The UFC has only a week to promote the McGregor-Diaz fight, and if the two were originally slated to face each other there would definitely have been a massive amount of bold statements and quotes to remember. Bisping-Diaz would be a great match up both stylistically and verbally. Bisping issued a challenge to Diaz after his original response to the meme.
