Frank Lester vs. James Wilks
Prior to his Ultimate Fighter Season 9 semi-final bout with James Wilks, Frank Lester boasted that he was going to knockout his opponent’s teeth after his teammate DeMarques Johnson offered him $100 per tooth he dislodged.
However, in a twist of fate it actually turned out to be Lester who would go some impromptu dental work in the Octagon when Wilks landed a knee to the face that dislodged four of his teeth.
To his credit, the former Iraq war veteran simply yanked the teeth out and headed into the third round, where he would then be TKO’d by more knee strikes.
Afterwards Dana White declared that in effect Lester had been stopped twice during the fight and that Lester was, “the toughest son of a bitch I’ve ever met.”
