8. Dave Menne
The owner of one of the shortest UFC Championship reigns of all time is Dave Menne. At UFC 33, Menne won the inaugural UFC Middleweight Championship by defeating Gil Castillo.
A little over 3 months later, however, Menne dropped the belt to Murilo Bustamante at UFC 35. Menne would fight 3 more times in the UFC and lost all 3. His only ever win in the promotion came the day he won the middleweight title.
