3. Johnnie Morton

Johnnie Morton had a long and successful career as a wide receiver in the NFL after having been an All-American at USC.

Morton played for 12 seasons in the NFL, with the Lions, Chiefs and 49ers.  His MMA career was not as lengthy or successful however.

Morton’s one and only MMA fight occurred on the same event where Brock Lesnar made his MMA debut (his only fight ever outside of the UFC) and Sakuraba vs. Royce Gracie 2.  It took just 38 seconds for his opponent, Bernard Ackah, to knock him out and make him rethink this whole MMA thing.
