UFC featherweight champion Conor Mcgregor can now enjoy steaks instead of salads, and it’s showing in his much bigger physique here…
Whether you love him or hate him, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is headline making news. In similar fashion to former UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey, ‘The Notorious’ has become a sensation in a relatively short time.
Similar to ‘Rowdy’ before him, McGregor has been absolutely decimating his competition. His seven fight win streak culminated in a spectacular one punch knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 194 last December.
Before the Brazilian Aldo, there was no featherweight champion, or arguably even a division. This made McGregor’s 13 second finish of the formerly dominant ‘Scarface’ all the more special.
But unlike the aforementioned Rousey, the Irish star is more than willing to move up in weight. As his female counterpart had refused to face her Brazilian rival Cris Cyborg at ten pounds above her normal weight, McGregor has done the exact opposite.
The UFC announced only last week that Conor would move up to lightweight and face the champion Rafael dos Anjos for the 155-pound title. Even with hungry contender Frankie Edgar nipping at his heels, McGregor demanded a lightweight title fight, and received it immediately.
His coach came out and said recently that Conor McGregor would look even better at lightweight, and would be able to eat steaks and get stronger for his next title fight. The images you’re about to see show the result of McGregor’s new weight and strength regime.
