No respect for Anderson Silva…

Former two-weight and current lightweight champion Conor McGregor has been very vocal lately. Generally, McGregor is not a quiet person, but recently he’s really opened Pandora’s box.

Speaking during the pay-per-view interview in Manchester, ‘The Notorious’ took aim at his employers. Blasting the UFC for stripping him and promoting Jose Aldo, McGregor was also upset about the Floyd Mayweather situation.

Floyd & Anderson

Obviously the UFC is not happy to let Conor McGregor box Floyd Mayweather. In turn, the Irishman said ‘F*ck the UFC’ during his intense rant. Meanwhile, ex-UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva challenged Conor McGregor to fight at 175 pounds.

Having fought as a light-heavyweight, the motives behind Silva’s challenge were questioned. As per MMAJunkie.com, ‘The Spider’ explains his call out of McGregor:

“I don’t talk to disrespect Conor. It’s just a challenge for myself and for the best standup fighting. I respect Conor, and I think this would be a great show, a great fight for the rest of my life, the rest of my story in the UFC.”

Conor McGregor’s Comeback

Responding to Silva’s comments, ‘The Notorious’ seems somewhat amused. Although he asks why Anderson is talking about him, McGregor also says he’ll fight anyone:

“(Expletive) every one of them,” McGregor said during a recent Internet pay-per-view interview. “You see Anderson (Silva)? What’s Anderson talking about? What the (expletive) is Anderson Silva talking about? He keeps mentioning my name over and over again. Look, I’ll fight any one of them. Make sure the numbers are right, make sure the situation is right. I’ll fight any one of them at any given time.”

McGregor’s Comments on WWE

As per MMAFighting.com:

“I’m thinking Vince McMahon must be pissed,” McGregor said last weekend in Manchester. “I don’t give a f*ck about Vince McMahon. I stole that walk, and that walk is now mine. And not Vince, or any of those p*ssies over at the WWE will do anything about it. That’s my walk. I created that walk. I made that walk.”

“Never say never,” McGregor said. I’ll love to go into that WWE and have a real knock. Let one of them have a real knock and see what’s what. But we’ll see. There’s conversations ongoing. I’ve turned down some things, the conversation’s still ongoing.”
