Mixed martial arts is a very different landscape from the pure arena of bloody warriors we are all used to. For anyone following the sport for longer than the past year or two, it’s obvious that most of the attention and limelight is cast on the pre-fight antics in modern MMA.

If you tuned in to the eventful UFC 197 pre-fight press conference this week, you’ll know exactly what I mean. UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is moving up to lightweight to challenge Rafael dos Anjos for his title, and the trash talk got off to a heated start.

So McGregor was on top form, slamming dos Anjos as a traitor to the Brazilian people, and even claiming he would behead him when they fight on March 5. He also said he would drag his corpse through the streets of Rio de Janeiro, and the lightweight champion didn’t really have much to say towards ‘The Notorious.’

In a clip that’s gone viral overnight, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor can be seen flinching and twitching in an erratic and somewhat confusing manner. We are used to seeing pro wrestling or WWE style antics from McGregor, but this is a whole new level of weird.
