Paulie Malignaggi is trying to make some money…
Paulie Malignaggi is doing everything he can to entice Conor McGregor into a boxing bout. In other words, Paulie is looking to have a “red panty” night. The term has now become synonymous with fighters attempting to earn themselves a large payday by facing Conor, as Paulie is doing here.
In his efforts to book himself into money-fight contention, Paulie now has an anthem to go along with his trash-talk. A diss-track directed at Conor and featuring Paulie insulting the UFC lightweight champ has now been released.
Paulie Malignaggi on Conor McGregor
The rivalry between Conor Mcgregor and Paulie Malignaggi started when the latter was invited to the former’s training camp. After a sparring session with Paulie, Conor’s team released a photo on social media which made it appear as though Conor had knocked Paulie down.
Paulie, however, disputes McGregor’s camp’s side of the story.
“It’s not nice to paint a pic that isn’t true. This was a push-down in sparring..”
I came to help this camp out, not to be exploited. Now you’re gonna get the truth though.
I did interview BECAUSE of the pics, I’m not your average sparring partner. You post pics with me, media will hound me, I’ve said stop with pics. Only his personal photographers allowed in the gym. Don’t just invent your own reality of things because it’s how you wish it to because it’s how you wish it to be, buddy.”
Conor McGregor on Paulie Malignaggi
Conor’s response to Paulie’s complaints was as follows:
“So I released one picture with me whooping his ass with both hands behind my back,” McGregor said. “When I heard the stuff he was saying, I was like, ‘That’s concussion talk,’” McGregor continued. “The man was badly, badly concussed. Look at his face. He was busted up bad.”
“It comes with the territory,” McGregor stated. “At the end of the day, I’m the one in here fighting. I’m the one in here doing it. He showed up, he tried his best, it didn’t go his way, he got his ass whooped, he got his pride dented,” McGregor said. “And then he wanted a way out. What better way for a guy like him to exit under a load of questions and mysterious?”
“What can I say? He got his ass whooped but I like the guy. He’s alright, though, he’s kind of a like a lovable mouthpiece, he’s alright, but it did not go well for him.”
No Balls – Featuring Paulie Malignaggi
Conor doesn’t seem too interested in the bout but that won’t stop Malignaggi from trying to bate him back into a boxing ring.
The “No Balls” track released by D86 records recently, might be the biggest attempt yet by Paulie to get Conor to give him a red panty night.
While some are saying Conor hasn’t fought his last boxing bout, one has to wonder what the chances are he takes on Paulie. As for the near future, it certainly sounds as though Conor will be fighting in the UFC before the end of 2017.
My ears are bleeding from this atrocious, repetitive garbage.
