Dana White Has Offered Another Pathetic Message to UFC Fans Regarding the Conor McGregor Bus Attack…
The UFC is desperate for Conor McGregor to make his comeback as soon as possible. One thing that is absolutely 100% certain is that they have never ever relied on a fighter as much as the notorious Irishman. Despite not fighting in the octagon since 2016, he remains their biggest draw.
He did fight once in 2017, crossing over to boxing, where he basically fought in a glorified exhibition against Floyd Mayweather. It made hundreds of millions of dollars and was the main reason why last year was the most successful year in the history of the UFC. They don’t like it when you mention that MMA wasn’t their biggest draw.
It’s also why they haven’t punished McGregor in any way for his ridiculous actions in the build-up to UFC 223, back in April. ‘The Notorious’ infamously flew over a gang of 20 thugs from Ireland and laid siege to a media bus carrying his nemesis Khabib Nurmagamedov, in Brookyn’s Barclay Center. Now Dana White wants to remind the world that he cares. Yeah.

Bad Lad
There’s just no point in Dana White even pretending that he cares about McGregor’s antics. The UFC has basically let him get away with everything he has ever done. The only thing he is worried about is that McGregor will run into problems with his work application process for the US. Even that’s unlikely now that he’s entered a plea agreement.
“Conor is a guy I’ve obviously been behind since day one,” White told MMA Roast. “He’s a kid that I have tremendous respect for as a fighter and as a person. And we’ve always had this really good working relationship. But for him to come to one of our events, at the arena, and do what he did is as bad as it gets.”
Nobody is buying it, Dana.

Ridiculous
The UFC and McGregor tried to make out that he was meant to fight Rafael Dos Anjos in Rio de Janeiro back in May. There’s a couple of jarring reasons why this is absolute rubbish. The fight would have taken place outside of US prime time. A McGregor fight is a massive event, so why lose your audience?
What’s more, is that since becoming a ranked fighter he has only ever fought in Las Vegas and New York. There’s no logical reason for him to fight in Brazil. It just doesn’t make sense. Add in the fact that Rafael Dos Anjos seemed nonplussed by the whole thing, and suddenly the UFC has been caught in a lie.
Basically, it’s believed that the UFC has created this narrative themselves so that they can pretend that they punished McGregor by pulling him from his return fight in Rio. It’s about as believable as Ronda Rousey’s month-long ban from the WWE. At least they don’t hide the fact that it’s fictional.

Plea Agreement
McGregor’s legal team have lodged a plea agreement for the Irishman and his SBG Ireland teammate Cian Cowley, who was also charged for his role in the bus attack. The two men are expected to escape with community service. Because they’re such incredible role models, they’re highly likely to be working alongside inner-city kids, alongside the NYPD’s Athletic League.
Meanwhile, McGregor is due back in court on July 26. Expect an announcement that he’s going to fight Khabib Nurmagamedov at UFC 229, on October 6, in Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena. It’s an open secret that’s what the UFC is hoping for.
