UFC President Dana White has finally responded to the recent altercation between Cris Cyborg and Angela Magana. It happened during the UFC Athlete Retreat, where Cyborg ended up punching Magana in the face. She obviously wasn’t happy with Magana’s treatment of her on social media.

As for now, Cyborg has been charged with misdemeanor battery by Las Vegas police.

Cyborg recently sounded off on social media regarding the attack

Cyborg then recently took to social media to express her disappointment. In a message to Cyborg Nation, she detailed how much she has had to put up with. And that she’s tired of it all. Here’s what she had to say.

“It is no secret I have been a victim of online bullying. At times in my career it has felt like there has been a team of writers using the internet to shape the public’s vision of my company’s brand. Often attempting to make me look like the face of anabolic abuse in the sport of MMA,” said Cyborg.

“While it has been years since someone has said I looked like “Wanderlia Silva in a dress”. It doesn’t feel that long ago that I was listening to someone give me advice on how cutting off my dick would help me to make 135lbs easier,” Cyborg continued.’

“It should never be acceptable for a company to allow their employees to develop a culture where sexual harassment, racial prejudices, or female discrimination are acceptable in the work place.”

White is treating it as a serious incident

White is obviously not making light of the situation and is treating it as something serious. Since the police is involved, it’s definitely not something to take lightly.

The UFC President recently caught up with MMA Fighting and gave his two cents on the situation.

“Obviously, we’re looking more into that and it’s very serious. We’ll see what happens. This is the thing that the district attorney and the police are handling right now. There’s way more to that than just what am I thinking about it.”

Cyborg wasn’t happy with Magana’s recent tirades aimed at her on Social Media. Among the most notable was a Tweet showing Cyborg in a superhero costume posing with cancer-stricken children. It was placed beside a photo of the infamous horror movie character Jigsaw from the movie series “Saw”. The Tweet read “Who wore it better?” and asked fans to vote in a poll.

It isn’t just Magana however, Cyborg is often that butt of a lot of jokes. Most frequently due to the fact that she looks more masculine than other females. As everyone knows, when jokes get repeated over and over they quickly go from being funny to being annoying.

It’s obvious Cyborg got tired of the same joke on repeat.

While Cyborg’s acts may have been out of line, Magana’s was equally as deplorable. In an age where online bullying is such a sensitive topic, public figures have to be a little more careful. Do you think that Cyborg was right to punch Magana in the face?
