Holly Holm is 35 years old and has lost her last 2 fights, that’s a red flag in MMA. She is at risk of becoming a James “Buster” Douglas type figure in mixed martial arts if she can’t regroup and get herself back in the title picture.
Holm put everything together perfectly against Rousey, and actually looked pretty good against Miesha aside from the 2 rounds where Tate took her down, but she looked like a defeated unconfident fighter against Valentina Shevchenko.
If Holm drops another fight it could be impossible for her to find her confidence again, but a big win might completely turn things around for Holly. Her next few fights will define her legacy.
