1. Lying to Fans and Employees About Sale

The worst thing that Dana White has probably ever done to UFC fans was lie to them about the sale.

Last summer, rumours of UFC being sold to an unknown buyer began to circulate. White would only comment that the company being sold was “the last thing anyone should worry about”. He would also flat out deny it on several other occasions. Then, the company sold, for $4 billion.

After the sale, White said there would be no widespread changes. It is unclear if he meant to say there would be no widespread changes aside from the massive layoffs and change in fight-making strategies which both occurred shortly afterwards.
