There is no reason to believe this fight wouldn’t go exactly how their first fight did, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t draw money.
It’s been sort of an odd relationship between GSP and Nick Diaz since they fought back in 2013. After Diaz was originally suspended for 5 years for failing a test for marijuana, GSP offered his support publicly for Diaz, also stating that he had no hard feelings about anything Nick had said about him leading up to their fight. Diaz didn’t really return the favour later however, when he accused GSP of being on steroids in their fight while on Chael Sonnen’s podcast. There’s probably enough of a story there that a another fight between the two of them could draw money.
