Floyd Mayweather sounds like a completely different fighter...

There are many possible outcomes of Mayweather vs. McGregor, but some are more likely than others…

Experts say that what makes someone purchase a PPV is a feeling of having to know what will happen. People will throw down $100 a pop for this PPV just to find out what exactly will happen when Conor and Floyd are finally in the ring together. On the other hand, some are confident they already know what will happen, however.

Most experts still expect Floyd to dance around Conor, avoid his punches, and glide his way to a 50th straight pro victory. Others aren’t so sure, however, and frequently cite the phrase “anything can happen in a fight”. Nobody can say for sure that is what will happen, however, and that’s why the PPV will be so successful.

In fact, there are several possible outcomes to this bout, all of which could realistically happen. In this article, we look at the five most likely outcomes from Mayweather vs. McGregor:

5. Conor Lands a Lucky Punch

This is the one Conor fans are hoping for. If Conor can land his “touch of death” to Floyd’s chin it could become the most iconic knockout in the history of combat sports. It would be talked about for ages and Conor would become a folk-hero of sorts.

Can it happen though?

Floyd Mayweather is arguably the greatest boxer of all-time, leading many to believe Conor will never be able to touch him. Dana White disagrees with this, however, and feels it is unreasonable to assume Conor doesn’t land on Floyd at least a few times during the bout.

“I don’t see Floyd Mayweather as this indestructible, undefeatable guy. Is he slick? Can he try to stay away from Conor, can he move,  can he roll with the punches,  can he do all that? Absolutely. But in a 12 round fight, Conor McGregor will at least hit him a couple of times.”
