Floyd Gets Injured

While Conor fans are probably hoping for a knockout, the most likely scenario which results in Conor winning is Floyd going down with an injury.

Floyd Mayweather is a 40-year-old man who hasn’t fought in 2 years. The likelihood of him sustaining an injury during the bout is far greater than it is for Conor. All Floyd would need to do is tear a groin muscle, ACL, or something else and Conor will win.

If Conor suspects Floyd’s mobility has been reduced due to injury, expect him to swarm his opponent. He wants to KO Floyd, he doesn’t want to win because Floyd’s corner stopped the bout due to injury.
