Dana White has said that UFC 151 will go down as the event that Jon Jones and Greg Jackson murdered.
The main event that night was supposed to be Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson, however 8 days out Henderson had to withdraw due to injury. This was going to set up a Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen replacement fight, only Jones and his team turned it down, ultimately leading to the event being cancelled.
Some people believe that there may have been a Chael Sonnen conspiracy at play here, and that Sonnen was aware Henderson was going to withdraw and had been preparing for a fight with Jones. Feeling like this would put Jones at a disadvantage, Jackson advised him not to accept the fight.
