1. Conor Won’t Run Next Time

Conor McGregor is a very proud person, and ultimately that will be his downfall.

What happened when Nate beat him at UFC 196? Conor refused to take any other fight other than the exact bout he had just lost at the same weight. That is nothing but pride talking right there. So what is going to happen when Nate Diaz and his fans have spent months, possibly even years, saying that Conor ran away from Nate at UFC 202? It’s going to hurt Conor’s pride, and he’s going to want to show his naysayers that he can beat Nate without taking little jog breaks away from him to catch his breathe. The only problem is that Conor can’t beat Nate without taking little breaks to catch his breathe, because Nate’s cardio is light years ahead of his and always will be.

Conor will feel himself wanting to get a breather, then have this surge of pride tell him he can power through, then he’ll gas out and Nate will finish him. End of trilogy.
