#2 Attacking Dennis Siver with a Racial Slur
Dennis Siver was supposed to be the guy to give McGregor his toughest challenge at the time. A lot of haters didn’t subscribe to all the hype back then, and who could blame them? McGregor was a fairly new name, and largely untested.
Although he had yet to prove his mettle inside the Octagon, it was evident that McGregor was the burgeoning king of trash talk, evidenced by one little gem of a racial slur.
“My thoughts on Dennis Siver is that he is a midget-German steroid head,” shared McGregor, when asked what he thought of his opponent.
This basically insinuated that Germans were midgets with drug problems. I don’t think the Germans took this one very well. Siver sure didn’t.
