#4 That Time McGregor Lit Everyone Up at the GO BIG Press Conference
We are used to McGregor just letting it all out on a foe to sell a fight, but at the GO BIG press conference, McGregor took it upon himself to trash talk everyone in the room, proving that he is scared of absolutely no one.
Suffice to say, McGregor got under a lot of people’s skin that day, and it will forever live in infamy as one of the largest scale verbal tirades made by any fighter.
McGregor ripped into Donald Cerrone, Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo, as well everyone else who would dare speak up against him with gems like:
“I’m the money fight in the male shit at all weight divisions. So fuck everybody else up here.”
And,
“I said it’s good business because you’ve got to build up all these other shmucks to make a fight with me so allow them to keep doing that. It’s intelligent business and that’s why UFC is where it is.”
To McGregor, he’s god and everyone else are just mere mortals. He certainly isn’t shy about reiterating his position as the organization’s biggest draw.
