2. Yves Lavigne
Yves Lavigne definitely gets a lot of heat from MMA fans, and he’s not Matt Brown’s favourite referee. During Matt Brown’s fight with Pete Sell it appeared that Lavigne had stopped the fight, but in a split-second decided to un-do his stopping of the fight, which of course is ridiculous. It didn’t impact the result much as Brown just followed Sell around the cage for a little until Sell just sort of fell over and Yves Lavigne then became the final person involved to agree that the fight actually was over. In one fight Lavigne made both an early stoppage and a late stoppage, pissing everyone off in the process.
