Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has never been afraid to speak her mind. In the case of her last fight though, her mouth wrote some checks that her behnd couldn’t cash.

UFC 193 marked the last time ‘Rowdy’ would wear the UFC belt around her waist on the way to the octagon. Holly Holm ended the streak with a devastating second round knockout, and Rousey hasn’t recovered yet.

So where does Steven Seagal link in to Ronda Rousey’s story? Well, there’s a few things, firstly he has somehow managed to gt himself involved in numerous mixed martial arts news stories.

The 90’s action movie and ‘martial artist’ is a ‘master’ of Aikido. We first saw him in MMA headlines after Anderson Silva’s stunning KO over Vitor Belfort. Seagal famously claimed he taught ‘The Spider’ his fight-ending front kick.

Seagal started popping up at MMA events with the likes of Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida. But there’s another hilarious reason why Steven Seagal is linked to Ronda Rousey, and it’s her famous martial artist uncle.
