Who expected GSP to get linked to a fight with Conor McGregor though? Even the Irishman’s coach has been focused on a lightweight title fight with Eddie Alvarez. This news comes completely out of the blue.

The report is via LowKickMMA.com. Indicating a welterweight showdown between Conor McGregor and Georges St-Pierre at UFC 205 in New York’s Madison Square Garden. If true, this would mean McGregor must vacate the featherweight belt, as per UFC president Dana White’s recent comments.
