The Polish Power who took Adesanya’s undefeated record is now set for his second title defense against UFC veteran, Glover Teixeira. Blachowicz is starting to become a star if he continues to win which is impressive, especially considering he was almost cut by the UFC after suffering consecutive losses.

Blachowicz has always been the underdog and yet always goes out on top but for his next fight, he will probably be going in as the favorite. He deserves to be the favorite considering the guys he has beaten to get to the top.
Although Teixeira is no easy opponent and there are no other contenders with a better argument to fight for the title. He has fought for the title once but sadly he faced a prime Jon Jones and he got demolished. Now he has a second chance to fight for the title, he is coming off an impressive submission win against Thiago Santos who has a win over Blachowicz. I know MMA math does not work that way but it is still a interesting fact to know.
Blachowicz had a revival career run when he started knocking out his opponent. Some experts speculate that Blachowicz just decided to hit harder than usual. When he knocked out Luke Rockhold, it was the start of the Polish power, where he started knocking people out left and right.
Teixeira is known for getting knocked down and yet finding a way to lure his opponent to a submission. In his fight with Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos, there were times where he got clipped, but still rallied to an impressive submission somehow, which is something that Blachowicz should be aware of.
