Looks like top UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is getting tired of all the attention Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are getting.

Mayweather and McGregor hav long been rumored for a potential boxing superfight. Just a week ago, McGregor was victorious over Eddie Alvarez, capturing the UFC 155-lb. belt in the process.

The undefeated 24-0 Nurmagomedov is perceived by many to be the first in line to challenge the newly crowned champion. It however remains unclear what McGregor plans to do next.

McGregor of course is the first simultaneous two-division UFC champion in history. He holds both the UFC featherweight and lightweight belts. The featherweight belt McGregor has held onto for almost a year without defending it even once.

McGregor’s Next Career Move Unknown

Now, with McGregor stating he doesn’t plan on being back in the Octagon until mid-2017, it puts the lightweight title on the shelf just like the featherweight belt.

Yet despite McGregor’s absence from the cage, talks about the Irishman fighting undefeated boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather have intensified.

Prior to McGregor’s first loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196, there were wide rumors that both McGregor and Mayweather were attempting to put on a rare boxing vs. MMA matchup. Instead of MMA, McGregor was supposedly going to compete against Mayweather in a professional boxing match.

Khabib Is Tired Of All The Mayweather-McGregor Talk

Mayweather is 49-0 as a pro-boxer. He is currently retired but needs one more victory to reach a perfect 50-0. The boxing champion has stated in previous interviews that the door of his return hasn’t closed yet, and that there are a handful of fights that could coerce him to come out of retirement. One of those fights is a bout against McGregor.

Nurmagomedov appears sick and tired of all the attention the two are getting.

Taking to Twitter in a rant, the Dagestani grappling ace aired out his frustration.

Nurmagomedov is one of the most talented lightweights in the UFC and is currently the #1 contender at 155-lbs. Of his 24 wins, 16 have come by exciting finish including an impressive submission victory over Michael Johnson just recently at UFC 205.

Many fans feel Nurmagomedov would give McGregor his toughest challenge to date.

It however is unclear at this point what McGregor intends to do in his career moving forward, and Nurmagomedov isn’t too happy about it.
