Here we are again, ready to analyse a style vs style battle. This time it’s a traditional form of Kung Fu taking on a professional boxer. We’ve seen countless times how these kind of fights can go either way, but you have to ask why these people even think it’s required.

We know from years of experience and countless lessons from masters of all kinds of martial arts, that a blend of all forms is the most efficient in any kind of combat situation. Yet still martial artists feel the need to challenge other practitioners of different styles.

So on to the subject of today’s article. A self proclaimed Wing Chun master challenges a professional world champion boxer to a full contact fight. Wing Chun is a concept based Chinese martial art form and derivative of Kung Fu, utilizing a mix of striking and grappling.

For the purposes of their fight, the boxer and Kung Fu practitioner agree to striking only rules. This means the Wing Chun fighter can punch and kick, the boxer can punch only.

Well, you can’t say it wasn’t bound to happen at some point. Not only did the Wing Chun ‘master’ look lost in actual combat against a professional, but he was at a massive size and weight disadvantage too.
