Mike Perry is indeed the “King of Violence,” as he’ll not say no to any fight in the sports world. With Nate Diaz claiming there was no worthy opponent to fight at UFC 300, the bare-knuckle fighter called UFC’s Hunter Campbell and proposed the fight.

The call is part of the recent episode of the Overdogs Podcast, where Perry directly shared his real-time call with the UFC executive. Despite his departure from the promotion, the two seem to be on good terms. Perry then directly introduced the pitch, noting that Diaz, who’s also no longer with UFC, is interested in joining the monumental UFC 300 but claims that there is no fighter to fight for him.

Campbell didn’t directly answer the proposal but suggested to Perry to call Diaz instead to convince him to fight at BKFC. However, Perry explained that the free-agent fighter is not interested in bare-knuckle. While this might sound like a “no” for an answer from Campbell, the executive expressed interest in possibly inviting Perry in the future.

At one point in the episode, Perry opened up about his intention to try other competitions, and Campbell asked about the fighter’s situation with BKFC and his deal. Perry then shared that the bare-knuckle promotion allows him to do “anything” he wants. The chief business officer reiterated the question, which Perry affirmed. And while Campbell stressed that Perry should exclusively do his bare-knuckle fights under BKFC, the executive, who’s also a lawyer, noted that he might try other sports outside the realm of his current promotion.

In the end, while Perry didn’t get a positive answer, Campbell still suggested his interest in striking an agreement with Perry in the future.

“If anything ever comes up, you know I’ll call you,” Campbell told Perry.
