Pop superstar Lady Gaga has been known to indulge in MMA training to keep fit and when Ronda Rousey fought Holly Holm at the height of her fame at UFC 193 in 2015, she was among the 1.1 million fans who tuned in to watch it on PPV.
However, Gaga was less than impressed with the fact that Rousey refused to touch gloves with her opponent at the start of the fight, and so when she was subsquently battered from pillar to post until being head kick KO’d in the second round, the pop icon was one of the first to chastise her for her earlier actions on social media.
“THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT TOUCHING GLOVES!” Gaga tweeted out to her millions of fans alongside a picture of a bloodied Rousey being hit in the face.
