This is possibly the most heart breaking footage of Conor McGregor knocking out Jose Aldo, no wonder it never got shown…
It was not an easy night for fans of the now former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo this past Saturday December 12th. The Brazilian fighting legend returned to face his fierce rival Conor McGregor in the UFC 194 main event, but the result was a highly unexpected sequence.
In the initial stages of the 13 second fight, Aldo and McGregor looked to be going through a feeling out process. These types of waiting games can often go on for rounds, but this time it was not to be.
McGregor, after putting out some light strikes, countered Aldo’s forward movement with a perfect left fist to the jaw. This was the result:
Aldo’s world all of a sudden came crumbling down around him. The man he had declared a ‘joker in his court’ had fulfilled his promise to dethrone Aldo, and it literally took one punch to do so.
The fight everybody had waited so long to see took seconds to finish, and the ten year reign of Jose Aldo was over.
But there’s new footage from the front row by the UFC octagon that shows the devastation that McGregor’s knockout produced. Heads up; It’s really, really hard to watch.
