‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor Has Issued a Cryptic Statement to Fans After His Release From a Penitentiary in Miami, Following His Latest Arrest in the US… Check it Out Below…
Conor McGregor must have a taste for prison food. The Irishman was arrested again in the US in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following an incident where he allegedly stole a fan’s phone and smashed it on the ground. It’s the latest in a series of controversial incidents with the volatile UFC fighter.
One of the most marketable combat sports athletes on the planet, McGregor is the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion. He’s also the father of two children, the youngest of whom, his daughter Croia, was born in January of this year.
After his release from Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami, Florida, McGregor issued a statement on social media. He posted the image below to Instagram.

Statement
From the message above it seems like McGregor might just have snapped at a fan who was taking a picture of him in the early hours of the morning without permission. The alleged incident took place outside the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, home to the world-famous nightclub LIV. There is no suggestion that McGregor was intoxicated. He wrote on Instagram:
“Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on. I love my fans dearly. Thank you all.”
Normally the Irishman has a team of handlers around him to deal with overzealous fans. Now you know why.

Charges
McGregor has been charged with criminal mischief and strong-armed robbery. He was arrested at a residency in Miami following the incident. The Irishman has had many run-ins with the law. He has only recently completed his community service following the Brooklyn bus incident that saw him spend the night in prison back in April 2018.
More recently he was banned from driving in Ireland for speeding. He’s also been fined $50,000 for his role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl back in October 2018 and served with a six-month suspension that will be lifted at the end of next month.

Legal Action
‘The Notorious’ was released on a bond of $12,500. It’s a bit cheaper than his bail release in New York which cost Dillon Danis $50,000. He is set to be faced with a court appearance and it remains to be seen what sort of sentence he could receive. His lawyer issued the statement below:
“Last evening Conor McGregor was involved in a minor altercation over a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.”
Wouldn’t you love to be on his legal team? You’d be rubbing your hands together all the way to the bank…
