One of Conor McGregor’s Most Bitter Rivals Has Responded to ‘The Notorious’s’ Latest Arrest in Absolutely Ruthless Response… This is One of Paulie Malignaggi’s Best Tweets…
Paulie Malignaggi despises Conor McGregor and no wonder. The New Yorker is a genuinely talented boxer. You don’t become a WBA and IBF champion if you’re a slouch. However, now he’s a figure of parody since his involvement in McGregor’s preparation for his 2017 boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.
During that camp ‘The Magic Man’ was brought in as a sparring partner for McGregor. Clearly unfit and out of shape, Malignaggi went toe-to-toe with the Irishman and was infuriated by footage that was released to the public, showing him getting knocked down.
Now he takes every opportunity he can to get back at McGregor and took another chance to land a shot below the belt when he sniped at the Irishman’s latest arrest in Miami, Florida.
Yo @TheNotoriousMMA don't you think you rob your fans enough EVERYTIME they order 1 of your fights they gotta watch you get your ass kicked and quit?! If you need a phone that bad don't sweat it bro I'll just put you on my phone plan #NoBalls 🤣🤣

Robbery
McGregor was arrested by police in Miami for allegedly stealing and breaking a phone belonging to a fan who tried to take a picture of him. He was charged with criminal mischief and strong-armed robbery – a second-degree felony. He was brought to Turner Guilford Correctional Center. Malignaggi is obviously totally obsessed with his nemesis, and tweeted:
“Yo

The bit about the phone is actually pretty funny.

Bare Knuckle
‘The Magic Man’ made more headlines earlier in the week when he signed a deal with BareKnuckle FC, the first legal bare-knuckle boxing promotion in the US. It was a totally unexpected return for the 38-year-old, who has been a successful analyst and commentator for a number of TV networks.
His signing is believed to be directly linked to BKFC’s recent signing of McGregor’s teammate, training partner, and close friend Artem Lobov. The Russian convinced the UFC to release him earlier in the year and is slated to fight Jason Knight in April. If ‘The Russian Hammer’ beats ‘Hick Diaz,’ then a match-up with Malignaggi looks very likely. If he can’t get McGregor, Lobov is the next best thing.
Makes Sense
BKFC are on the rise and President David Feldman made no secret about the fact that they were jumping on board the Conor McGregor connection. He told MMA Junkie exactly why they showed so much interest in getting Malignaggi to sign for them. He said:
“We talked about him coming in and doing some commentating, and then I said, ‘Why do commentating, man? I think you should fight in this thing,’ And then we talked about the Conor McGregor angle and stuff like that. We thought, let’s give it a shot.”
“It just makes sense, man. He’s a cool guy. He’s so down to earth. He’s a really good dude, on top of he’s very flamboyant. He likes to talk. But he can fight.”
