It is more profitable to be an MMA fighter now than ever. Sure, if you are fighting on the Fight Pass prelims you might not be making enough money to pay your rent, but those who can draw on PPV have opportunities those who came before them never did.

It only makes sense that many retired fighters are looking to get back in the game. Why wouldn’t they look to earn a big-money payday?

Here are seven fighters we’d love to see come out of retirement:

7. Gina Carano

Carano missed her big payday against Rousey, but she could still earn some money coming out of retirement. She might still be recovering from the beatdown that Cyborg gave her however.

Amazingly, it has been almost 8 years since that fight against Cyborg in Strikeforce. Women’s MMA has grown considerably since that time.

Carano has been working in Hollywood since she retired from MMA. She either plays small roles in big movies or big roles in small movies. Still beats having to face Cyborg however.
