A legend of the sport and a definite future Hall-of-Famer, Frankie Edgar probably should never have been fighting at lightweight in the first place. But he did and he gave us one of the greatest rivalries in history when he took on Gray Maynard in one of the greatest MMA fights of all time.

Edgar is a classy guy who managed to defend his title twice before it was taken from him by Benson Henderson. Since then he’s lost in multiple featherweight title fights but take nothing away from ‘The Answer’ and his achievements despite his physical limitations.
