6. Anthony Pettis

Before arriving in the UFC, Anthony Pettis was the last-ever WEC lightweight champion. His new employers knew that they were getting somebody special when ‘Showtime’ arrived. He lost to Clay Guida in his UFC 155lb debut but would rebound to go on a five-fight winning streak, claiming the title and a single defence in the process.

Pettis’s style is one of the most entertaining in the game. Renowned for his trademark flashy kicks, he’s a great athlete and MMA fighter. Beating the likes of Donald Cerrone, Jeremy Stephens and Joe Lauzon on his way to the title was unbelievable.
