With the blockbuster Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Conor McGregor bout on the horizon, one wonders just how much preparation the two fighters are actually putting into the bout. The event goes down August 26th, just a little over a month away.

Mayweather, at the ripe old age of 40, is of course training like a beast as he normally would. That’s a given. He’s had over 20 years of experience in the ring. And by now, the five-division champion knows pretty much exactly how he can get himself in the best possible shape. The bigger question is McGregor, who has a whopping zero total years of experience as a professional boxer.

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor finally climb the ring on August 26th

A lot of mystery surrounds McGregor’s camp. Some clips of him hitting the bags and the pads have surfaced. But of course, certainly not enough that we can infer a lot from. Much of how McGregor actually looks as a boxer is still shrouded. We will probably only ever know when he finally climbs in the ring with Mayweather.

McGregor however, loves to take to social media and give fans a taste of what is to come. The UFC lightweight champion loves to post on Instagram. And in a recent couple of posts, put up a picture of himself looking ripped and absolutely jacked. He also came up with a training video and had a few choice words for Floyd Mayweather.

As he continues his preparations for August 26th in Las Vegas, McGregor has offered fans choice glimpses into his camp.

I am built to run through people.

New picture up on Instagram shows McGregor completely JACKED

The picture shows McGregor in his underwear right after a training session, sweat still dripping. The caption reads: “I am built to run through people.”

It’s that familiar Mystic Mac bravado that the world has grown to love (or hate, depending on how you look at it). But make no mistake about it. This is the best McGregor has looked physically. And he seems to be filling that 154 pound frame quite nicely.

If conditioning and firepower are the tools McGregor needs to pull off the upset, then fans should be happy to know that the Irishman is at the very least coming to the bout prepared. Nevermind that he has had no experience in boxing. To be put in the best position for victory, this McGregor understands.

A video prior shows McGregor with a chilling message for Mayweather

And in just the post prior, McGregor released yet another training video and promo for McGregorfast, his new fitness program. The caption this time reads: “If he dies, he dies”.

Clearly McGregor is throwing a direct threat to Mayweather who may value his life more than anybody in this world. Judging by how hard McGregor is working for this fight, it’s safe to assume that he’s not in this only for the money. It appears McGregor is training to actually go for the win.

If McGregor winds up beating Mayweather, that will not only break the internet. It might just even break the world. And that, my friends, is what Conor McGregor is all about.

How excited are you all for this fight? Come on. Don’t deny it. You know you are.
