4. Stipe Miocic vs. Alistair Overeem UFC 203
Alistair Overeem makes his second appearance on this list. As a fantastic striker who also has a suspect chin, this should come as little surprise.
UFC 203 was held in the city of Cleveland, where they love hometown boy Stipe Miocic. But they didn’t hand Miocic an easy fight for his homecoming, as Alistair Overeem is a guy who has beaten some of the best fighters in the world throughout his long career.
The former K-1 star Overeem dropped Miocic in the 1st, and it looked like Stipe might go down as a “one and done” champ. Overeem locked in his guillotine as well, but according to him let go of it because Stipe tapped (replay would show this not to be the case).
Miocic gutted through it and got on top of Overeem with a minute to go in the round, then finished him with ground and pound as the Cleveland crowd exploded into celebratory chaos.
